Tips: What kind of VFD is appropriate for running a high static inertia load?
The reason many variable frequency drives (VFD) have issues with high inertia loads has NOTHING to do with the VFD electronics but rather the motor components including all the mechanics. What happens is that the very large mass of the inertia makes the mechanics (shafts) act like springs. (Normally very stiff but now taxed with load). This brings the mechanical resonances down where the control loops want to operate. This is why normal VFD systems with large inertia loads can not have high gains. Gozuk, and others, offer VFDs that can drive motors with high inertia loads. These big diameter torques can eliminate all the 'springs'. If you are serious - focus on stiff mechanics.

Often beam pump controllers in the oil field are exposed to high transients, high overhauling loads along with power interruptions. Many of the VFDs have active front end so the harmonic signature is low and the overhauling energy can be placed back on to the grid. In case of a power failure all of these AFE VFDs have brake choppers and resistor banks installed to absorb the overhauling energy.

Builder in Product TAB

NEW! Since Journal 3.2, the much improved T.A.B (Tabs Accordion Blocks) system supports the page builder inside the tab content. Unlimited Blocks, Tabs or Accordions with any HTML content or the builder interface (supporting custom rows/columns/modules) can be assigned to any individual product or to certain groups of products, like entire categories, brands, products with specific options, attributes, price range, etc. You can indicate any criteria via the advanced product assignment mechanism and only those products matching your criteria will display the modules. Also, any module can be selectively activated per device (desktop/tablet/phone), customer login status and other criteria. Imagine the possibilities.
