How to choose the right voltage converter?

  1. Input and Output Voltage
Input Voltage: Ensure that the converter supports the input voltage you're providing. It should cover the range of voltage levels your power source might provide (e.g., 12V, 24V, 110V, etc.).
Output Voltage: Choose a converter that provides the voltage needed by your load (e.g., 5V, 3.3V, 12V, etc.). Make sure the converter can output the specific voltage you require, whether it's step-up (boost) or step-down (buck).
  2. Current (Amperage) Requirements
Maximum Output Current: Check the current rating for the output voltage. The converter should be able to supply the current required by your device or load. If the load requires more current than the converter can provide, the converter will overheat, trip, or fail.
  3. Power Rating (Wattage)
The power rating is the product of the output voltage and the output current (P = V × I). Make sure the converter can handle the required wattage of your load. If your load requires 12V and 5A, you need a converter rated for at least 60W.
Safety margin: It's always a good idea to choose a converter with a higher power rating than your load requires to ensure it operates within its safe limits.
  4. Conversion Type
Step-Up (Boost) Converter: Use this if you need to increase the input voltage to a higher output voltage (e.g., 5V from 3.7V or 12V from 5V).
Step-Down (Buck) Converter: Use this if you need to reduce the input voltage to a lower output voltage (e.g., 5V from 12V or 3.3V from 5V).
Buck-Boost Converter: If your input voltage fluctuates and you need the output to stay constant regardless of whether the input is higher or lower, a buck-boost converter is ideal.

Builder in Product TAB

NEW! Since Journal 3.2, the much improved T.A.B (Tabs Accordion Blocks) system supports the page builder inside the tab content. Unlimited Blocks, Tabs or Accordions with any HTML content or the builder interface (supporting custom rows/columns/modules) can be assigned to any individual product or to certain groups of products, like entire categories, brands, products with specific options, attributes, price range, etc. You can indicate any criteria via the advanced product assignment mechanism and only those products matching your criteria will display the modules. Also, any module can be selectively activated per device (desktop/tablet/phone), customer login status and other criteria. Imagine the possibilities.
